Testimonials
Sarena Horava
Jishnu is a key contributing member of the academic team sub-contracted to two programs that I supervise. As a researcher, Jishnu is thorough at planning and executing experiments. He has demonstrated high competency related to his areas of expertise, including computer engineering, as well as exhibited enthusiasm to quickly learn new topics and skills. Overall, his high quality work, effective communication, and ability to work under pressure were critical for the team to meet the program deliverables.

Jishnu is a very motivated student with a creative and entrepreneurial mind. I met him when he applied for the 2017 UMass Lowell Creative Venture Competition with his project Cyborg. He also applied to the $50K DifferenceMaker Idea Challenge, where he was awarded $2,000 for Cyborg. Jishnu is a team player, problem solver, and would be an outstanding asset for any company and has my recommendation.

Jishnu has been a diligent worker in my research group. He takes initiative to schedule meetings with me to determine the next primary goals of our project, and to update me on his recent progress. I value that he is an independent worker, such that he can make significant progress without my intervention, yet approaches me when an important decision point is required; this acknowledges my time constraints but lets me remain involved in the decision process. He is well qualified and competent in the digital manufacturing tasks he has performed, and works well with the rest of my research team.

I have known and worked closely with Jishnu for the two year in my position as the CEO of PerleyBrook Labs. I am profoundly impressed with the thoughtful, skilled and holistic approach he takes in approaching the Engineering problem at hand. For example, we had an opportunity to build a multi faced Access control reader which has a Bluetooth, RFID and Keypad interface for a client of ours. He produced the circuit and all of the firmware to make the product and improvised the mechanical locking system from the lock of a car. Our client was equally impressed. This opened few new avenues for the company.
